Track 2 Test

We took two identical cars, one using Castrol EDGE, and the other, the conventional oil of a competitor. We placed them on treadmills and drove them continuously at 75mph up an incline of 6.5% - like climbing Mount Everest every 70 minutes. To up the stakes, we loaded each car to the max of 3.0 tonnes and made them run thirsty. No oil top ups. Ever. Then we drove them until they couldn't be driven anymore.

Proves EDGE Lasts Longer

Castrol EDGE was still running strong more than three days later (another 69 climbs up Everest), after the competition engine had stopped, it's oil turned to jelly. The only reason our engine stopped was because we shut it down. The rest of the car just couldn't handle the pace. EDGE lasts that much longer than conventional oil.
